10 Minutes a Day to a Healthier, Happier You

So you’ve got a full schedule ahead of you this week. Appointments, to-dos, meetings, and the normal day-to-day daily routine. What part of your day is set aside for ‘you’ time?
If your anything like me you probably have some bad habits. Wouldn’t it be nice if all it took was 10 minutes to form some new, easy, healthy, habits to help better take care of yourself? 

Well I’m here to tell you it is possible. With these simple steps you too can take action, get Unstuck and become a healthier, happier you.

Keep on flowing

You can easliy free up 10 minutes (or much more) of your day to form some better habits or routines. Here’s how: Stop ‘aimlessly’ checking your phone, social media, apps, etc. as often throughout the day.   

A study by Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers found the average user checks their phone nearer to 150 times per day. In its annual Internet Trends report, carried out in May this year, found that people check their phones, on average, 23 times a day for messaging, 22 times for voice calls and 18 times to get the time.

Studies show whenever you are trying to adopt a new habit or routine it is best to lump them in with pre existing ones. And if possible at the same time each day. If you don’t wear a watch get one. Wearing a watch will help in two ways: 

  1. You won’t rely on your phone for the time
  2. You will be more cognizant of your time management
